Almost every Wednesday evening, a catered meal is offered at a reasonable price. The meals offered change on a rotating basis and include the following main dishes: meatloaf, chicken fingers, lasagna, hamburger steak, spaghetti, and barbeque. Meals include sides, a roll, dessert, and tea.

Wednesday meals are suspended during the summer months (end of May to mid-August) and the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Spring Break. Check the Epworth calendar for exact dates.

The main purpose for offering the meals is to make it easier for those attending Bible study and Disciple classes on Wednesdays to come and eat before-hand. It eliminates the need to rush home and cook something or the expense of fast-food or restaurants. Additionally you don't have to clean your kitchen or do the dishes that night! To top it all off, you get to eat with your brothers and sisters in Christ, sharing in a time of fellowship.

In order to keep the prices low, we need volunteers with a gift for "serving" to play a role. Each Wednesday two people are needed to serve the meals and two people are needed to clean up afterward. Serving the meals entails serving the appropriate portions for either children or adults. Cleaning up entails putting away anything that needs refrigeration, wiping the tables, and cleaning the serving trays.
