"To reach all people with the Good News that Jesus Christ died for our sins to give us eternal life."

As members of the Prayer Ministry team, we pledge that:

God commands us to pray continually with the confidence that He hears our prayers.

That we will pray full of joy and thanksgiving to God.

We will pray in obedience to God for those in need of the Gospel, as well as fellow Christians experiencing crisis, grief, or tragedy.

We pray in humility fully confident that God cares about us and that we can cast our burdens and worries upon Him.

We pledge ourselves anew to discover the power of prayer. All to often we are self-sufficient people and prayer challenges us to humble ourselves and admit we need God. Someone pointed out that when we work, we work; when we pray, God works.

Each Sunday, our church has listed in the bulletin prayer requests of our congregation. Please develop the spiritual discipline of prayer, and especially pray for the needs of those listed and for the needs of our church leadership and the work areas/other ministries of our church.

"If we allow ourselves to be channels of bringing the needs of others to the throne of God, we'll open ourselves up to a joy only Christ can fulfill."
