Reverend Mike Sigler is an Alabama native, having graduated from Opp High School. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University, a Master of Arts from Wheaton Graduate School and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary.
From 1979 to 1983 he was Editor and Writer with Scripture Press/Victor Books, and from 1983 to 1986 he was Associate Editor of Good News magazine.
He was ordained a Deacon in the United Methodist Church in 1986 and ordained an Elder in the United Methodist Church in 1988. He served as Associated Pastor in Gadsden Street UMC, Pensacola, Florida from 1986 – 1989. He was Pastor of Pine Grove UMC, Opelika, Alabama, from 1989 to 1992. And was Pastor of Daphne UMC, Daphne, Alabama from 1992 to June of 2001, when he became Pastor of Aldersgate UMC.
